Data processed
When you submit the contact form, we process your full name, organisation, business email, area of interest, message, language and source page. Security and hosting systems may also process IP address, request date and time, user agent and technical connection data.
To suggest the initial language, the website queries ipapi.co, which receives the IP address required to return an approximate country. GUARDAI does not use this information for profiling.
Purposes and legal bases
- Managing commercial, technical or strategic enquiries: steps taken at the data subject’s request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Security, abuse prevention and service continuity: GUARDAI’s legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Legal obligations and protection of rights: Article 6(1)(c) and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The form checkbox confirms that the notice has been read; it is not consent to marketing. The website does not subscribe users to a newsletter.
Retention
Enquiries are retained for the time needed to manage the contact and normally for no longer than 24 months after the last interaction. Where a contractual relationship, legal obligation or legal claim applies, data may be retained for the relevant different period.
Recipients and transfers
Data may be accessed by authorised personnel and by hosting, security, email and enquiry-management providers, appointed as processors where required. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or GDPR safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact info@guardai.it to exercise your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.
